Property Description

FIRST OPEN HOUSE BY APPOINTMENT AUG 30 from 1-230pm. Welcome home to this mint condition one bedroom in the Celtic Park cooperative in one of Sunnyside's most exclusive neighborhoods. Upon entry to the common courtyard that embraces your entire front walkway and entryway, you are greeted by a 24 hour manned security station for the building. The lush plantings are a harbinger of the comfortable and peaceful environment the home has to offer. Recent renovations allow you to just bring your toothbrush and unpack in this move in condition home with great sunlight and large rooms for you to enjoy. The kitchen features brand new stainless steel appliances that have extended warranties in place and transfers with the new homeowner. Western views from the living room and courtyard views from both the large windowed kitchen and bedroom allow for an effortless flow and cross ventilation throughout the whole home.
Advantages of residing at Celtic Park include
Utilities Included in maintenance fee! This includes gas, electric, as well as hot and cold water. How great is that! Celtic Park - Sunnyside's Premier Co-op Complex
Celtic Park is a large complex comprised of 9 acres. Built in 1933 and converted to co-ops in 1986. The complex spans between 48th and 50th Avenues and from 42nd to 44th Streets, and houses approximately 756 units home to more than 2,000 residents.
This well-maintained, pet-friendly co-op has excellent financials and recent upgrades include brand-new elevators and a newly opened gym facility for residents.

Amenities include on-site laundry, on-site property manager, 24-hour camera surveillance, security staff on evenings and weekends, gym, and storage (wait listed)
Parking is available and equipped with EV charging stations and although there is a waitlist, public parking on street is usually available with ease.
Your live-in superintendent is available for prompt services when needed.
Flexible Ownership Terms
Subletting is permitted after 2 years of owner occupancy - and there is no flip tax. Co-purchasing and gifting are also permitted, making this one of the most flexible and buyer-friendly co-ops in all of western Queens. All forms of transportation are available in the neighborhood.
Celtic Park is located just four blocks from the 7 train and Manhattan-bound buses, and steps from wonderful restaurants, local parks, and shops. The 7 train delivers you to Grand Central Station in just 15 minutes. Skillman Avenue, Greenpoint Avenue, and Queens Boulevard are lined with restaurants, cafés, bars, and grocery stores that reflect Sunnyside's deeply multicultural character. Romanian bakeries, Turkish cafés, Irish pubs, and Colombian rotisseries share the same vibrant blocks.
A high floor unit such as 4C don't become available often, especially when fully renovated! Come see what this lovely home has to offer you!

Interesting tidbit about Celtic Park: (As quoted from Wikipedia)
After a brief late-1920s use as a greyhound-racing track, the field was sold in 1930 to the City and Suburban Homes Company and developed as the Celtic Park Apartments, a 756-unit garden-apartment complex bounded by 42nd to 44th Streets between 48th and 50th Avenues that straddles present-day Sunnyside and Woodside. 4 5 The first apartment building, completed in 1931-32, was designed by Ernest Flagg; the five subsequent buildings, completed between 1933 and 1938, were designed by Springsteen & Goldhammer. 4 The complex was converted to cooperative ownership in May 1986. 5
In 2012 the New York City Council co-named 43rd Street between 48th and 50th Avenues, which bisects the apartment complex, "Winged Fist Way" to commemorate the IAAC and its athletic facility.
